What are the pros?

Jamf Pro was well thought out when it was designed, and it continues to improve as the user community provides feedback. It's easy for a beginner to get started with the foundations of mdm. After a while you realize that Jamf Pro's power is flexed by leveraging scripts to accomplish tasks that aren't baked in, or that are unique to your environment. The various policy triggers that are available simply work which provides peace of mind when addressing issues on your mac fleet. Policy scoping can be applied to AD users/groups as well by by smart groups created against device states. This makes it real easy to hone your polices exactly where you want them, no matter the size of your environment.

The more you use Jamf Pro, the more you appreciate what it can do compared to some of it's competitors.

Depending on the size of your environment managing printers through Jamf may be more work than you want it to be. But once it is set up it requires little maintenance.

Reporting could be better, but you can still get whatever data you want from native attributes (or extended attributes that you create). Cost may be a barrier for smaller companies. However, this should be a non-issue for any larger organization.
