There are a few mods on Modthesims that do that, but it's not that bad. My Vampire has the Attractive lifetime reward and has the Proper trait, so after a proper introduction and a hypnotic stare, she can usually get what she needs. Then she denies that she's a Vampire of course! On that note, hypnotic stare may make drinking easier. Basically, I've been looking around for a mod that makes sunlight a lot more dangerous for Vampires, sort of like the Sims 2 (Don't ask why someone would want their game to be that hard xD). Conversations in The Sims 3 are typically very boring and not important at all, you have no control over what the Sims talk about, and no control over whether the outcome is positive or negative. A lot of the time players just skip through the scenes and barely pay attention to what is being said.
